High School Camp Specifics

Please familiarize yourself with the following High School Camp details:

  • Small Groups: We are huge believers in the power of the small group. You will hear us refer to the adults on our trips as leaders and not sponsors. This is intentional! Your group may not have small groups installed already into your ministry model; however, we will emphasize small groups in sessions, and move into small group settings after each session. Thus, it’s helpful to create groups prior to the 1st session. We do require at least 1 adult per 10 students.

  • Sports Tournaments: We feature a volleyball and basketball tournament during the afternoons of Thursday and Saturday. Students need to indicate on their registration forms that they are interested in playing in these tournaments. However, each youth group leader is responsible for organizing those teams and informing the CDYC Sports Director of how many teams your church has by May 23rd.

  • Self-Guided TAWG Experience: Students will be given the opportunity to journey through a Time Alone With God (TAWG) Experience. This self-guided opportunity allows students to dive deeper into developing personal habits, exploring areas of their life and faith they have not yet investigated and grasping tangible ways to deepen their personal TAWG at home.

  • Breakouts: Students will have the opportunity to self-select different breakouts for one of our sessions. Students will not sign up for these during registration; however, we will collect a number from each group during your group times to make sure we have enough space for each breakout.

Middle School Camp Specifics

Please familiarize yourself with the following details specific to the Middle School Camp:

  • Tracks: Tracks happen on Monday afternoon and are selected by students in the registration form. Students must select their desired track from the list provided on the Middle School Camp page to ensure that they get into that track.

  • CDYC Open Mic: This is an opportunity for students to express their gifts or talents for the whole group. Students need to sign up for this option, and then you will be given times that your students will perform in the Dining Commons. Make sure students bring instruments, backing tracks or any other supplies needed.

  • Arrival Times: Our team will be ready to receive you on Sunday, anywhere from 4:00pm to 5:30pm outside the Everest-Rohrer Chapel. We suggest arriving on campus via the Logan Street entrance.

  • Why tickets & how can i purchase them?

We will be utilizing ticket registration again for 2020 based on churches purchasing spots for each camp. Simply email Erin Ransom at cdyctickets@gmail.com to let us know how many tickets you would like to reserve/purchase.  Ticket registration allows for each church to have more control and ownership of their group’s attendance. Ticket registration allows for CDYC to better plan and prepare for use of programming and camp budget. Tickets may be reserved at any time. Please see ticket pricing below.

    What is the cancellation policy?

Tickets returned on or before April 15th are refunded in full. Tickets returned from April 16th – May 8th will be refunded minus the $75 deposit. Ticket cancellations made on or after May 9th will not be refunded and must be paid in full.

    When is payment due?

On May 26th we will send you a Church Information Sheet that includes all your registration information as well as balance due for tickets reserved. Payment for CDYC must be mailed to the CDYC office by June 5th. If you add a student after your payment is made, please bring the remaining balance to CDYC.
